Okaa-sama’s Homeland
It was decided that we’d return from the Gladiolus Kingdom we ended up suddenly visiting because of the ship’s performance check.
We all got on the pillar’s elevator, went up towards the upper floor where the ship awaited, and boarded the ship. I had everybody enter the saloon when we boarded the ship. I then entered the bridge with the Captain.
“Captain. I just realised, but if it is possible to push this ship at that speed, I wonder if it is not also possible to use Teleportation on this entire ship”
“Eh? Teleportation, is it? This entire ship?”
“Shall I give it a bit of a test? I just have to push it and go back the same way as when we came if it is impossible after all”
“O-, okay”
The Captain was befuddled, like she didn’t quite understand what I was saying.
I strongly visualised this entire ship teleporting to the back of the Moon Capital’s mansion in one go.
Whoosh!
In the next instant, Moon Capital’s gigantic land was right before our eyes.
“Kyaーh!”
“W-, we really ended up teleporting in an instant huh!”
“Un, as I thought, it looks like I managed to do it huh. Captain, please moor the ship”
“U-, understood”
When I headed to the saloon, I spoke to my family members whose tea wasn’t even prepared yet and didn’t know what had happened.
“Otou-sama, Okaa-sama, I was wondering if it was possible to use Teleportation on the entire ship, and after giving it a try, I ended up managing to do it. We have already arrived at the Moon Capital”
“Wha-, what did you say!”
“Oh, my……”
“Onii-sama. Amazing……”
Everybody, is staring at me with an astounded look. This might be what they call ‘going overboard’.
“It is great we managed to return quickly huh. How about we all have tea together. Hahahaa”
“Good grief, your power really is unbelievable huh……”
I realised as we were having tea at the saloon.
“Okaa-sama, I am capable of Teleportation, but I can only teleport to places I went once before. But if we first go on a ship in a short time by increasing the speed like today, we can come back right away with Teleportation for the return”
“In other words, if I go to every country and shrine once beforehand with this method, I will become capable of going to every country with Teleportation at any time huh”
“That is amazing huh”
“Eeh, for example, it is possible to bring the Okaa-samas to their homelands in an instant for even a minor errand and return again right away”
“My! That is something we have never even tried considering before huh”
“Otou-sama, would it be alright to go around every country and shrine like that for a while”
“Umu. I do not mind, but you’ve got to contact the other country ahead of time”
“Yes, understood”
I went around the Okaa-samas’ homelands after that. First is, of course, starting from Okaa-san’s Nemophila Kingdom. We contact the kingdom and the shrine ahead of time, inform them that we will just be going to give our greetings, and depart. I decided that the ones tagging along with me will only be the Okaa-samas of that country and her daughter.
“Okaa-sama. How many years has it been since you went back to the Nemophila Kingdom?”
“Yeah, close to 5 years has passed since I left Nemophila. It has been a while”
“Okaa-sama and Mari-kaa-sama, Yuzuki-nee-sama, please go and stay in the saloon. I will go to where the Captain is and fly the ship”
“Understood”
I headed to the bridge after sending Okaa-san and others to the saloon.
“Captain, I will be counting on you all the way until the Nemophila Kingdom today”
“Likewise, I will be counting on you”
“Let’s go then, shall we”
“We will depart then. Strike northwards!”
“Setting course northwards!”
“Full speed ahead!”
“Well then, I am going to push!”
‘Thud!‘ the speed increases in the blink of an eye, and the scenery is flying by and changing. It looks like the Nemophila Kingdom really is far. We spent an hour and a half and arrived.
“Tsukuyomi-sama, what we can see at the front is the Nemophila Kingdom’s royal castle”
“I will remove my powers then, alright. I am counting on you for the rest. I will be going to the saloon”
“Understood”
When I entered the saloon, Okaa-san was making a nostalgic-ish look and staring outside from the window.
“Okaa-sama, we already arrived”
“We really reached this quickly huh”
“Okaa-sama, what a beautiful castle huh. And then beside the castle, as I thought, there is the shrine huh”
“Eeh, that is right. How nostalgic”
“Okaa-sama. Is Okaa-sama’s room being left in the castle?”
“Eeh, I think it is left as it is”
“Hereafter, when Okaa-sama and I come here from the Moon Capital with Teleportation, I want to set Okaa-sama’s room as the destination; what do you think?”
“Eeh, sure. We might surprise them and get treated as suspicious people if we appeared suddenly at other places after all”
“Eeh, precisely. It was decided that I would use Silvia-kaa-sama’s room in Gladiolus Kingdom as well”
“That is probably a good idea huh”
“Please use my room as well, alright”
“Thank you. I shall use it when I am taking Mari-kaa-sama”
The ship stopped right above the royal castle.
“Tsukuyomi-sama, we will lower the ascension-descension device. Over here please”
“Captain, can this ship not descend to the ground?”
“Yes. It cannot. We do not know how to descend it either”
I wonder whyy. Aah, I don’t know which, but it’s likely either the Moon Rock’s repellent force or the moon’s gravity, and it’s probably just floating at a fixed height; I wonder if that means they’re moving that with the propellors’ wind power.
We descended to the courtyard of the royal castle with the ascension-descension device. When the ascension-descension device’s door opened, a crowd of people were lying in wait there.
Every human was kneeling. And then, an individual who appears to be the King gives his greetings.
“Tsukuyomi-sama, is it. I am Nemophila’s King, Viskam”
“I am, First Queen Silenus Gladiolus Nemophila”
“I am, Second Queen Wisteria Liatris Nemophila, Armeria’s mother”
“Nice to meet you. I am Tsukuyomi”
“Now then, over here please. You are probably exhausted from the long journey”
“Otou-sama, it was not a long journey, you know”
“It wasn’t a long journey? I wonder what you mean by that?”
“Eeh, we arrived in one and a half hours from the Moon Capital by pushing that ship from behind with Tsukuyomi’s powers. That is why we are not exhausted”
“I-, in one and a half hours? From the Moon Capital?”
“Eeh, furthermore, we can go back with the entire ship through Teleportation for the return”
“Teleportation? Like there is any way a 3-year-old child is capable of something like that!”
“Otou-sama, let us talk about the things around those parts slowly afterwards”
We were brought to the castle’s saloon.
“Tsukuyomi-sama, I will introduce my son and grandson. Starting over here is my son, Stuart, Audrey the First Madam, and her daughter, Louisa, along with her son, Forlan. Beside them is Torenia the Second Madam and her daughter Annika. Beside them is Shion the Third Madam and her daughter, Romy”
Mari-kaa-sama and Okaa-san took after their father. And then, so did I. Nemophila’s King, Viskam, had platinum hair with blue eyes. His height is also over 190 centimeters.
“Everybody, nice to meet you; I am Tsukuyomi”
“Mari, Armeria. What do you mean by what you said about Tsukuyomi-sama just now”
“Otou-sama, Tsukuyomi-sama has powers even stronger than Gyogetsu-sama”
“What? Are you saying he is stronger than that Gyogetsu-sama, who is touted to be the strongest in the Amaterasu family. Furthermore, at 3 years old at that!”
“Eeh, we, too, have nothing but surprises every day”
“Since we made our way to this castle once, in the future, I can have Tsukuyomi bring us here with Teleportation at any time”
“H-, how will you come with the two of you?”
“Okaa-sama. Please stand up”
“Eeh”
Whoosh!
“Uwaaー! Oba-sama disappeared!”
Whoosh!
“Uwa! She came back!”
“Tsukuyomi will bring me here like this”
“H-, he really can huh. This is the work of God. How amazing”
“Lookk, that kid, he just disappeared, but then he showed up again. What’s going on?”
“Hey, Forlan! How rude of you towards a God!”
“Well, it is fine, isn’t it. Even if you explain to such a young child, he won’t understand after all”
“N-, no, Forlan is also 3 years old though……”
“Aah, that’s right. I am also 3 years old. Forlan, please get along with me, alright”
“Un. Okay”
“I just kind of end up, forgetting that I am 3 years old”
“Is Tsukuyomi-sama phrasing it as such because you are a God?”
“No, I am not 3 years old on the inside. I had lived in a different world before I was born as Armeria-kaa-sama’s son in this world”
“I died at 25 years old in that world. And then because all my previous world’s memories stayed even when I was reborn in this world, my mental age is the previous world’s 25 years old plus the current 3 years old; it is already 28 years old”
“Is that true! No, there is that mature way of speaking after all……”
“The previous life’s world Tsukuyomi lived, seems to be a completely different world from this world. And then it seems this world has been wrong about many things. Tsukuyomi will guide it in the correct direction for us from here on out”
“Has this world been wrong!”
“Where are we wrong?”
“Stuart-oji-sama, do you not find this world strange from a man’s perspective?”
“Ye-, yeah. Would that be……the fact that there are few men?”
“Yeah. Why did it end up as such. Is it because there are few men that we are wrong, or is it because we are wrong that there are few men. I think it is one or the other, but I deduce that it is likely the latter”
“What were we wrong about?”
“In order to teach and rectify that, I am currently making a book. I will drop by again after that is complete, so I would like to gather the royal family’s individuals, the chief priest, the nobles, and the school’s teachers and talk about it at that time”
“Understood. After being contacted, we will gather everybody right away”
“Thank you”
After that, I had a delightful chat with Okaa-san and others, and albeit short, Okaa-san enjoyed the brief parents-and-child reunion. But, on second thought, I am also a member of this family though.
Nemophila Kingdom’s King is my Okaa-san’s Otou-san, so I’m his grandchild. And yet, I’m being treated as a God, and I can’t have him interact with me like a grandchild.
But, I wonder if the interaction will also change if I come to stay here after turning 5 years old. That’s what I’d like to think. It was only for greetings today, so it was decided that we’d leave soon after.
I spoke to Okaa-san when we were going back.
“Okaa-sama, is it okay for you not to meet your favourite horse before going back?”
“Ah! That’s right. Would it be alright for just a bit!”
“Armeria. If it’s Sonia, she’s doing well”
Okaa-san hurried to the backyard happily. Several horses were fastened in different stalls in the stable, but when we went inside, all of them turned over here altogether.
Amongst them was a horse with significantly brighter, more beautiful and lustrous chestnut coat. Okaa-san ran straight towards that horse without looking anywhere else.
“Sonia! Have you been well?”
“Buhihihiin!”
Okaa-san is wrapping her arms around the horse’s neck and rubbing her cheeks on her. She must like her a whole lot huh.
Sonia noticed my gaze as I was looking fixedly at that sight. She stares over at me.
『who, are you?』
『Nn? Is Sonia speaking to me? What is it?』
『who, are you?』
『Me huh. I’m that person’s child, you know』
『you are?』
『Yeah』
『will you, protect this person?』
『Of course, I’ll protect her』
『really?』
『Aah, really. In just a bit more, you’ll be able to live together again』
『we can, ride together, again?』
『Aah, you can. Look forward to it』
『I will be waiting』
“Okaa-sama, when I told Sonia that ‘you’ll be able to live together again’, she asked, ‘can we ride together again?'”
“You talked to Sonia?”
“Eeh, it seems Sonia loves carrying Okaa-sama and riding huh”
“Is that true!”
“It is. You must be looking forward to coming again huh”
“Eeh, Tsukuyomi. Sonia! Thanks!”
“Okaa-sama really likes Sonia huh?”
“Eeh, I like her after Tsukuyomi!”
“Fufu, it’s great I didn’t bring Otou-sama today”
“Ah. That’s no good of me……”
Okaa-san was blushing and getting embarrassed. She really is an adorable person.
