A Reincarnated God’s Bride Search ~After Unravelling The Mysteries Of The Strange World, It Was Linked To An Absurd Reality~ Chapter 18

Development Of The Menstrual Products

It’ll be the development of the menstrual products from here on out.

“Everybody, I think I already talked about the knowledge of menstruation. And then something new I want to make is menstrual products. I hear many people lay a cotton-wrapped-in-fabric-something for their menstrual blood, but I want to make something that absorbs even more, and you can go even a just bit longer with”

I conveyed the wishes and conditions I had the Okaa-samas provide the other day.

“Is there anything suitable?”
“There are fabrics that absorb fluid easily, but as expected, it feels like the thickness will end up increasing huh”
“Uh. If that is the case, I once read in a botany book that, amongst the species of cacti growing in the Gladiolus Kingdom and the southern country region, there is a type that stores fluid within its huge leaf”

“Aah, a cactus huh”
“By any chance, it might absorb fluid if you dry the interior of that leaf”
“That is intriguing huh. Let’s most certainly, try experimenting on it”

“Are you aware of the name of that cactus?”
“Yes. If I remember correctly, I think it was ‘Jales'”
“This is a piece of useful information. Thanks, Patricia”
“No problem, it would be great if Jales is useable”

“Well then, I will procure it and try testing it variously. Let’s wrap things up around here for today, shall we”
“Jemma, Patricia. Please inform me after the prototype for both the undergarment and the book is ready”
“Yes. Understood. Thank you very much for today”

The meeting ended, and we returned to the mansion. We were relaxing while drinking tea with all of us.
Okaa-sama. The cost of manufacturing the book is, 1 silver coin per copy, but I still do not know about the money in this world. First and foremost. Could you teach me about the types of money?”
“Eeh, let’s bring them here then. Nina, please bring every type here”
“Yes. I will bring them right away”

Soon after, Nina lined up the money on a silver plate and brought them over.
“Starting from the left, it is the large gold coin, gold coin, large silver coin, silver coin, copper coin”
“There are 5 types huh. What would be their respective value?”
“It is not here, but there is also something called the platinum coin. It is too highly valued and pretty much does not circulate though. And then starting from copper coins, 10 pieces make the following coin’s value respectively”

“Hmm. Well then, what kinds of things can you buy with a single copper coin?”
“Nina. Could you answer it for me”
“Yes. With 1 piece of copper coin, you can buy at least 1 of most vegetables”
“Is that so huh. Well then, how much rice can you buy with 1 copper coin?”
“Yes. It will be 1 burlap sack portion”

“I see. Okaa-sama. Is 1 silver coin per copy on the cheaper side for a book then?”
“Eeh, I think it is not expensive. Because for the book this time around, the cover will not be extravagant, and the pieces of paper are also few”

“It may not be expensive, but there are many copies huh. Olivia-kaa-sama, could I have Otou-sama pay for this book manufacturing cost?”
“Eeh, it is no problem at all if it is a sum of that extent”
“It is great if that is the case”

I can’t begin to imagine what is the extent of God’s wealth after all. But it’s great if it’s alright.

All that’s left is how to distribute the completed book to the world.

I asked the born in Gladiolus Kingdom Silvia-kaa-sama and placed an order for the cactus Jales.

About two bundles of large Jales arrived after about 2 weeks. Jales was a cactus that looked like an aloe vera with bigger and thicker leaves. Without delay, I cut the part of the leaf that felt like it would store plenty of fluid into a rectangular shape and peeled the succulent plant-like leaf’s exterior skin? with a knife.

The interior is, as I thought, in the form of an aloe vera-like jelly, but it feels like it’s covered by a cucumber’s interior-like fibre. I dried that in darkness and observed what condition it’ll become.

I imagine it’ll likely, end up becoming dried up if I dry it in the sun and probably be hard and unusable. It turned into something feeling like a half-dried jelly while maintaining its softness nicely after drying it in darkness.

It comes out nicely now, but I have to verify how it’ll turn out if I dry it further. I decided to try giving it even more time.

And then, fortunately, the condition didn’t change even after 2 weeks passed. It’s finally time for the experiment. I cut it into roughly the size of Earth’s sanitary napkin, placed it on the plate, and tried pouring in half a cup of water.

It rapidly absorbed the water immediately after, and in the blink of an eye, all the water in the plate ended up being absorbed by the Jales. I try holding up the Jales timidly. But the water didn’t drip. Un. I guess this looks good huh.

All that’s left is what to wrap this up with in production. As I thought, gauze is probably the standard huh.
I wonder if there’s gauze in this world? Alright. Let’s consult the professionals, Jemma and Sandra, from here on out.

A month and a half passed since I ordered the undergarment and book.

I was contacted, informing me that the prototype was almost done for the undergarment. And that two hundred copies were completed for the book.
When dinner was over and it was time for tea, I asked Otou-san.

Otou-sama. There are things I would like to ask about this world”
“What things? You can ask me anything”
“What do people who are far away, between countries, between towns, and whatnot do in the case that they want to have a conversion?”

“It’s possible to converse with the communications device in the ship managed and owned by the country or town. There are always crew members on board those kinds of large ships for the most part, so you make contact through there”
“Well then, there are no phones or whatnot, right?”
“What are ‘phones‘?”

“I guess, in other words, it is something like the communications device in the ship installed in the castle or mansion”
“There aren’t such things. Because the ship isn’t something we created”
“Who created it?”

“It’s something inherited from our ancestors, and it has been passed down that the pillar that gave birth to the ship and light was there from the beginning. We don’t know who really created it, nor its mechanism”
“You don’t know, but you’re using it because you can, huh”
“Exactly so”

“In that case, I will probably not know either, so it is pointless to think about it huh. But, it is possible to contact the other countries huh”
“That’s right. Is there something you want to contact them about?”

“It is still slightly into the future, but the book is coming to form. I have to think about from which country, when, and how many copies to distribute after all, and I think it may be necessary to contact them ahead of time on the occasion that we are delivering it”
“We can just count on the merchant ship if it’s merely transporting it, but that won’t be enough, right?”
“Yeah. I want to personally hand it to the Royal Family, nobles, priests, and school teachers at least and explain it if possible”

“Well then, can’t Tsukuyomi just take, for example, 100 copies respectively and go around visiting the respective countries?”
“Go around by riding that ship huh. By the way, can that ship not fly faster?”
“Is there a reason it has to be fast?”

“Why, when going to Okaa-samas’ homeland, I would most certainly like to ask the Okaa-samas to tag along as well, but I heard that depending on the country, it will be far and take a very long time. I was thinking whether it’s possible to reduce the burden on the Okaa-samas even by a little”

“My! Tsukuyomi-sama is, always thinking about how the ladies feel huh!”
“You really are kind”
“It’s always flying at its top speed. So I think it’s impossible for it to be faster than this though”

Otou-sama, I want to try getting on board that ship once as soon as tomorrow; would it be alright?”
“Of course, I don’t mind. Well then, is after breakfast okay? I’ll inform the crew members beforehand”
“Thank you”

Onii-sama, I want to get on board together as well!”
“Ahーhow sneaky, I will get on board as well!”
“Me too!”
“Aah, got it. You can get on board if you want”

“Thank you, Otou-sama!”
In the end, it ended up with all of us getting on board.

The next morning, we gathered at the back of the mansion after breakfast. In the end, it was decided that all of the Okaa-samas would get on board as well.
When I got onto the ship, the female ship captain first showed me around the ship.

“Tsukuyomi-sama. I am Camila, the captain of this ship. I will show you around the ship”
The Okaa-samas looked like they were already used to it, and they ended up going off, saying they’ll be having tea at the saloon.
The Onee-samas are following behind me in a group. This ain’t patient rounding though.

“Over here is the bridge”
The crew members stood up altogether when I entered the room.
“You steer the ship here huh. Is it okay to come here again afterwards during the departure?”
“Yes, if you wish”

She continued going around and showing me the respective rooms inside the ship. Each and every one of them is like the inside of a medieval noble’s mansion.
Why, is the ship not in a Japanese style? I wonder if the person who created it different?

The cargo hold was just a spacious warehouse. It feels like several ordinary detached houses can fit in whole with this. This spaciousness is taller, wider, and then longer than a gymnasium.

“Have you used this cargo hold before?”
“At the moment, the things to transport to this Moon Palace are roughly just the other countries’ food items and general supplies, so even if we do use it, it is just placing the cargo at a tiny part of it”
“Is that so huh. Well then, I want to see the room with the energy source of this ship”
“That, I do not quite understand what you are saying. There exists no such room”
“Eh? Is there no energy source?”

“I believe the energy source you are saying, is likely the Moon Rock”
“Aah, that is the source huh. Where is that on this ship?”
“I do not know. It likely might be at the bottom of the ship, but it is not anywhere visible”

Which means, I suppose it is natural to consider that the electric power of the motor of the propellor that is spinning with electricity is being stored in the Moon Rock. Nevertheless, I wonder how it recharges? Don’t tell me it’s being charged wirelessly from the pillar? No, I can’t picture something like that being possible.

“Is that so. Well then, how do we go to the place of the propellors, no, the place of the spinning blades”
“It is impossible to get close to that either since there is nothing like a passage”
“Well then, the blades have never malfunctioned thus far huh?”
“What would ‘malfunctioned’ mean?”

“Hmm. From there huh. In other words, it means there have never been cases where something of this ship broke or the ship ceased to move, right?”
“Yes. Exactly so”
Uーn. I don’t get it, but it can’t be helped.
“Got it……”

“Let’s return to the bridge and depart then, shall we”
“Understood”
“By the way, you do not know why this room is called the bridge either, right?”
“Yes”
“As I thought!”

Since it’s dangerous for the Onee-samas, who came along in a group, to loiter about as well, I had them head to the saloon.

Now then, let’s have them show me the capabilities or whatnot of this world’s ship, shall we.
