See-Through Vision Ability
The conversation while drinking tea in Ojii-san’s mansion continued.
“Had Tsukuyomi-sama gotten married in the previous life?”
I was asked by Dahlia-obaa-san. As I thought, I guess that’s where a woman’s interest lies.
“No, I did not get married. I had a lover, but she had a serious illness. I became a doctor in order to find a treatment method for that illness, but I was not good enough and lost her. Hopeless, I ended my own life”
“My! Something like that……I ended up asking about something hurtful huh”
“It is fine……”
The two Obaa-sans ended up making apologetic-looking faces and faced downwards.
“By the way, are all the people in this world, living in bliss? I heard few kill themselves……”
“Yeah. Just being born is a miracle in this world. If you take that into consideration, few end their lives randomly. Illnesses to a certain extent are also treatable in the shrine after all”
“That said, if I had to say whether or not they’re blissful, I suppose they are by no means so. There are a lot of women who are unable to get married because there are few men after all, and there are also many people who aren’t monetarily blessed”
“I heard from Okaa-sama; I heard that women who are unable to get married purchase baby seeds with money. Is that something recognised by the respective countries?”
“Umu. They have no choice but to recognise it. Impregnating someone with Healing is the one thing that’s impossible after all”
“Ah. I see. There are no procedures such as artificial insemination, so I guess it means they purchase semen through direct sexual transactions. That is overly cruel huh……”
“Artificial? What is that?”
“There is no ‘Healing’ in the world in my previous life, so doctors perform treatments on illnesses through procedures such as medicines and surgeries. As a result of the development of such medical procedures, we are able to extract just the woman’s egg, inseminate it with the sperm, and implant it in the womb”
“Uーmu. I don’t get what you’re saying at all. Is that impossible in this world?”
“Ah. You do not get it huh. Unfortunately, I think it is impossible in this world”
“I am thinking of getting information from Okaa-samas and searching for the reason it is difficult for the women in this world to get pregnant from here on out”
“Does Tsukuyomi-sama have an inkling of the reason?”
Dahlia-obaa-san asks me curiously.
“Yeah. First, I think I want to search for it from the polygamy problem”
“What? We’re getting one spouse after another because one wife won’t quite get pregnant, you know?”
“Eeh, I am thinking that maybe it turned out as such because there was somebody who ended up thinking about it as such somewhere in the past. It is the individual’s disposition whether or not it is easy to get pregnant”
“It is true that there are women with hard-to-get-pregnant disposition, but humans would go extinct if there were only such people. Besides, pregnancy is not solely a woman’s responsibility. There is also a set number of men who have problems in their functions”
“Wha-, what did you say! It is not solely the women’s fault huh!”
The two Obaa-sans turned into happy-looking faces.
“Eeh, of course. Even if a man and a woman with normal reproductive functions get married, they are unable to get pregnant unless they do the correct sexual intercourse during the correct period. Well, even if you do not know about that, there are also instances where you get pregnant randomly if they coincidentally align though. I suppose my Okaa-sama is a good example of that”
“Come to think of it, Armeria got pregnant with Tsukuyomi-sama right after marrying over huh”
“Umu. I thought a miracle happened. Furthermore, a boy at that after all”
“Eeh, it is not that it is difficult for the women in this world to get pregnant, nor is it difficult for boys to be born. Maybe by making it into polygamy through incorrect knowledge and assumption, it has turned into a vicious cycle. That is what I have deduced”
“I get that pregnancy is not solely the women’s responsibility. But what is wrong with polygamy?”
“I cannot say with certainty for this as well, but if the wives increase, the number of sexual intercourse with each individual wife decreases, no?”
“Ohoho. Ye-, yeah. I guess you’re right……”
“Eeh, exactly so”

The two Obaa-sans’ faces turned crimson red, and Ojii-san’s face turned ghastly pale.
“You are unable to get pregnant even if you perform sexual intercourse all willy-nilly. The ovulation period in order for a woman to get pregnant is only 3 days out of 4 weeks. The time in which you are able to get pregnant at an especially high percentage is less than a day even amongst that. Normally, you have to aim for that and have sexual intercourse every day for at least 3 days”
“Just 3 days in a month?”
“Yes. But that is the typical benchmark of the world in my previous life. Since the moons are incredibly big for this world, I can imagine that that also influences it. I will not know the details unless I research the menstrual cycle in particular as well though”
“Well then, getting pregnant is a hurdle to begin with huh”
“Yes. Ojii-sama, pardon me, but if you have 5 wives, you would have never had sexual intercourse with the same individual for 3 consecutive days, no?”
“U-, umu. The other wives would get jealous if I did it continuously with the same wife after all”
“My!”
“Gyougetsu-sama!”
“Then I think it would be hard to get pregnant if it does not hit it right on the mark”
“I-, is that so……”
“There are stories of women who are unable to get married purchasing baby seeds, but it is not like they can buy it every day, right? Furthermore, having sexual intercourse with a man they do not even like; it is not good for their mental state either. I think the chances of being able to get pregnant is quite low with that”
“I suppose there is nothing better than to be able to have sex and also get money for the men who sell baby seeds, but I think it is really a cruel business”
“Let’s make them stop such businesses right away!”
“No, it is true that they are doing something cruel, but while the correct knowledge about pregnancy is still not known to the people in the world, for people who dream of being able to get pregnant, it would be troubling if that business is gone. There is a sequence to things, so first, I have to gather more information and get proof”
“Gather information where?”
“Yeah. First, I would like to acquire information from Otou-sama and Okaa-sama and also do verifications and experimentations. After that, I will go to Nemophila Kingdom, and I want to gather information over there as well”
“Experiments using Gento and company, you say. What kind would it be?”
“I will have them have sex according to my instructions, and have them make my younger brother or younger sister”
“Wha-, what did you say!”
“That’s something to look forward to huh”
“How exciting”
Obaa-sans and company laughed like mischevious children.
I returned to my room from Ojii-san’s mansion with Teleportation.
“Whoosh!”
“Kyaーa!”
Nina the maid, who was cleaning my room, got surprised by me suddenly appearing and shouted.
I grabbed Nina’s hand in a panic and apologised.
“Nina, I was doing Teleportation training. Sorry that I ended up surprising you. But I’ll suddenly disappear and appear from here on out as well, so get used to it bit by bit, alright”
“Ye-, yes. I will do my best”
Having her hands grabbed by me, Nina’s face is turning crimson red. This sure is adorable huh. I continued while looking up at Nina’s face with a smile from below.
“By the way, where is Okaa-sama?”
“Yes. I think she has gone out to the garden with Yuzuki-sama”
“Thanks. I will try going there”
I teleported to the garden with Teleportation when I said that and directed my eyes to the yard from the window.
“Whoosh!”
“Hyaaa!”
I could hear Nina’s weird voice the instant I disappeared.
Okaa-sama is surprised by me suddenly appearing in the yard.
“Whoosh!”
“Tsukuyomi! You gave me a shock. Welcome back. You are already capable of Teleportation huh!”
“Yes. Since it was easier than I thought”
“You’re amazing huh”
“Onii-sama! Welcome back”
Yuzuki-nee-sama hugs me and rubs her cheeks on mine. Children have no restraints when it comes to such things huh.
“Onee-samas are, all around huh”
“There is no Healing training because Otou-sama is not around today”
Silvia-kaa-sama’s eldest daughter who will come of age next year, Mizuki-nee-sama, answered happily. As you would expect from her adulthood being around the corner, she’s becoming womanly.
“Onii-sama, could you gather the animals again?”
“Aah, sure. Could you go to the dining hall and get the animals’ food then?”
“Yes. Onii-sama”
Okaa-sama and me feeding the animals was seen by the Onee-samas, and since then, we have had fun feeding them together. Mizuki-nee-sama ran off into the mansion happily.
She returned with a bag she had filled with feed soon after, and all of us took a seat on the grasslands.
Everybody, already knew about it well and no longer cheered even when the animals. They’re feeding the animals with a smile, without making any loud noises.
However, it’s mysterious when I think about it. This place is a land that floats in the sky. It’s originally a moon’s fragment after all, so why, are there animals? It’s not mysterious for birds to fly all the way here since they can fly. But where did squirrels, rabbits, racoons, and weasels come from?
Well, I guess it’d make sense to assume that humans brought them over when they were building a palace here.
Nevertheless, this palace. It’s quite literally a huge Japanese temple no matter how you look at it. The things we eat every day are pretty much Japanese-style meals, and they have miso and soy sauce as well. It should definitely have some kind of connection with the Japan of my previous life.
Additionally, the sight of European-faced everybody using chopsticks and eating Japanese-style meals in this Japanese-style palace ends up coming off as slightly comical as well.
In this palace, there’s nobody with a Japanese face amongst my family or the maids. Olivia-kaa-sama has black hair with brown eyes, but she’s obviously a Latino-type face.
Well, I suppose it’s the result of races moving easily and mixing because the population is small. There either wasn’t Mongoloids-type, or maybe they were eliminated because of inferior genes.
In any case, I won’t know unless I try going out into the world. Let’s look forward to it around those parts.
At night, I’m alone with Okaa-san as always, not. Yuzuki-nee-sama is also in the bed beside me tonight. She’s hugging me tightly. It’s quite stuffy.
“My dream finally came true. To think that I can sleep together with Onii-sama!”
“Does Yuzuki like Tsukuyomi that much?”
“Yes. Armeria-kaa-sama”
“Well then, that’s great huh”
She’s making a really blissful-looking smile. Well, when I think about her life after adulthood, I might have to pamper her this much. So I convinced myself.
“Okaa-sama. Today, I was taught see-through vision at Ojii-sama’s place”
“What are you able to do with see-through vision?”
“I am able to find illnesses that are inside the body. I can find the illness and treat it before the person themselves realise they are unwell. I found and treated Dahlia-obaa-sama’s illness today”
“My! That is something wonderful huh!”
“After Otou-sama and Mari-kaa-sama return, I would like to give every family member a screening”
“What is ‘screening?’ like?”
“I see through to the inside of the body and search whether there is any illness. I will treat it on the spot if I find any”
“M-, my! You will see the inside of the body?”
“There is no cause for concern; I will only look from above the clothes. You will not even feel a thing”
“I-, is that so”
Okaa-sama is making a slightly uneasy-looking face.
“I do not mind even if Onii-sama sees me naked!”
“No, I will refrain from that”
I’ve got to make it clear here.
“Okaa-sama, that and I want Otou-sama and Okaa-samas to cooperate in order to investigate the reason for the low birthrate”
“You asked about things like our age and the age we got married as well previously. Is there something else that you want to ask”
“Eeh, there are plenty. That and I want one of the Okaa-samas to get pregnant with a new child of Otou-sama’s”
“M-, my! Pregnant? is it? Is that not difficult?”
“No, I think they will be able to get pregnant if I have them have sex according to my instructions after I investigate clearly”
“‘Se-, sex’. What are you saying!”
“No, I mean, I am a doctor, you know?”
“A-, aah, ye-, yeah. That word in that form is a little, uh……”
Aーahー, turning that crimson red. How adorable! But the conversation won’t proceed if I don’t talk with an undaunted attitude here.
“And, since I do not want Okaa-sama to give birth, I am thinking of recruiting candidates from the other Okaa-samas”
“Why, do you not want me to give birth?”
Looks like Okaa-san got slightly pouty at my words.
“Eh? If you end up getting pregnant and giving birth to a girl from here on out, will you not end up being unable to go to Nemophila Kingdom with me. It is in just 2 more years, you know!”
“Aah, that’s right! There’s that huh! Yes. You’re right. I do not want to give birth!”
“Okaa-sama. There is no need to go that far, you know. Could it be, you are thinking that you do not want to give birth to Otou-sama’s child anymore?”
“N-, no, that is……”
Okaa-sama’s face ended up turning cloudy.
