If I Had To Say, I Would Say I Am A Evil Magician 6

Learning

She couldn’t understand what this man is saying.

“……what, did you just say?”

“Nn? Aah, I wonder if you couldn’t hear me. I simply said,『You don’t have to come anymore』. It really is regrettable though”

Asch sighs sadly.

Lily, she’s a stunning young girl. Fine golden hair. Dark green pupils that give off a mysterious glow. Those characteristics accompanied by her well-arranged facial features like the drawing of an Angel would have unquestionably added her to one of the future girlfriend candidates.

“……just so you know. I was the number one in the school year for both theory and practice in this Hogner Magic Academy”

Hou. That sure is, wonderful. You put in a lot of effort, huh”

Asch complimented her for her effort, but it only felt as though Lily is being made a fool of.

“I don’t remember being appraised by someone like you; I worked hard all this time for the sake of receiving Board Chairman Lioar’s teachings. And when I was finally selected for the special class……I was suddenly told that it’d be changed to the worst teacher like you, do you know how I feel!?”

“Hmm……that criticism is, fair. Lioar, isn’t this lovely young girl pitiful. It is the Board Chairman’s responsibility to take students’ opinions seriously, right”

Lioar, who had the spearhead turned to him splendidly, shrugged with a slightly troubled look.

“Lily, I understand your opinion. However, this is a conclusion drew with the Hogner Magic Academy’s students in mind. While taking your opinion into account, I have no intention of changing the decision of taking in Asch-sensei as the special class’ teacher”

“So, he says?”

Asch smiled from ear to ear at Lily.

Wha, what an unpleasant fellow……the beautiful top student glares intensely at the ill-natured Magician while grinding her teeth.

“Not just you, is there any other student who doesn’t want to take my lessons?”

In response to Asch’s question, everybody raised their hands, including Lily. The students’ opinions were terrifyingly consistent.

“Is that so……it’s alright”

“Here, please take a look. Board Chairman Lioar, please quickly get this man――”All of you, don’t have to come anymore. Goodbye”

!?

“Y, you. What are you saying? If there are no students, what lessons……”

“Nn? Aah, I’ll replenish from the other classes. There are still more, right?”

“””……”””

In response to the ill-natured Magician, who answers like he thinks nothing of it, all the students’ jaws dropped.

“However, you guys made a courageous decision. I hear that this country, Narsha, is quite the academic background society; to drop out of school halfway. I’ll be cheering on you guys’ job hunt in the shadows”

In response to the single sentence that was given joyously, the students’ expressions turn pale all at the same time.

“Why, why will we drop out of school!?”

“Why?”

“It, it’s unjust! Tell us the reason that we have to drop out of school”

Lily is in any case, unconvinced. Her mood is the worst it has ever been. If she’s going to be taught by this worst teacher, she would even prefer a different class. But, for her to be made to drop out of school. A mere teacher-in-charge, should not possess such authority.

“Hmm……a reason. A reason huh”

Asch closed his eyes and started going around in circles at that spot. At first glance, it looks like he’s pondering……but it’s totally a pretence. He’s desperately suppressing the disturbance in his heart.

That’s right, he, had been hurt.

Immediately upon entering Hogner Magic Academy enthusiastically and in high spirits, he was denied by a beautiful girl like never before. A straight-up boycott by all of the students. His mind is already covered with wounds.

“I’m shocked……your reason isn’t even clear, and yet you made us drop out of school?”

Lily made a sarcastic smile and looked at the Board Chairman. She wants to show the Board Chairman how hopeless this teacher is, and remove him from the teacher-in-charge seat. While weaving such a plan.

“That sure is tough……to put into words what I answered instinctively. Isn’t that right, Mira”

On the other hand, Asch. What should he do to this cheeky young girl.
He wants to mess up that pride of hers beyond repair. He wants to tear down her argument to the extent that she doesn’t even have any grounds for rebuttal. He wants to carve ten thousand times the wound he received onto this girl. He’s a sadistic Magician who has such things circling his head.

“Yes. It is extremely tough. Why Lily-sama does not acknowledge you. It feels like I can say about a hundred reasons for that in a second though”

In response to Mira’s faint sarcasm, the beautiful top student cast a grateful glance at her. However, Asch, who treated it like he didn’t hear her words at all, suddenly opened his eyes and came to a halt.

“I think laws are an efficient invention when it comes to humans living, how about you guys?”

“……”

Nobody answers. All of the students, already filled with animosity, have no intention of answering any question.

“Hmm……I think so though. For example, even if it’s an individual with high standing and authority, they get punished if they do something against the law. Countries, municipalities, and schools. Through the rules implemented in organisations of various sizes, people who live logically are not treated unjustly”

“What……do you want to say!?”

Lily bites on and asks aggressively.

“Misia=Cellular, who founded the Hogner Magic Academy. She too was a noble individual. The way she thinks is extremely logical”

“Like I said, what do――”

Just as she’s about to say that, Lily’s expression turned pale. The other students are still paying attention to Asch’s words.

“I too had a look at the regulations of this school”

Asch takes out a student handbook from the male student’s breast pocket beside him and reads it out loud.

『Students are to be bestowed with knowledge. Teachers are to bestow knowledge. Fools who do not desire knowledge, are not qualified to be the students our school』

・・・

Silence visited the class.

“『Knowledge is to be bestowed equally to the mass. Be grateful to the knowledge bestowed, and bestow it to others』Misia=Cellular, the founder, spelt her idealogy as such. School fees do not exist in this Hogner Magic Academy. Everything is being provided through volunteers’ donations. By right, there is no place for refusal by the side which receives knowledge for free like you guys”

“””……”””

There existed no grounds for any rebuttal for all of the students, starting from Lily.

“However, foolishly, you guys refused the lessons of me, a teacher. This, I think is spot-on a school regulations violation; what do you think?”

“””……”””

“I guess I shall take your silence as an answer. In that case, have a nice day”

Even when Asch declares it delightfully, nobody attempts to move from their seats. It’s as though, they have frozen.

“Board Chairman Lioarr”

In a voice that’s about to burst into tears, one of the male students directs his eyes to the old man like he’s asking for his help.

“Kuku……brilliant thinking huh. You are asking the most powerful individual of this school. Now then, Lioar. You are the biggest role model of this school and the one and only authority who can bend the law. You cannot give in to the plea of a person who violated the rules, and not be an example for the other students”

“……”

The ill-natured Magician chants to him joyously from the bottom of his heart. Lioar himself kept silent, but one cannot read what he’s thinking from his expression.

“That’s, that’s not my intentio……”

Hou, am I mistaken? In that case, what’s your intention”

“……”

The male student quietly cast his eyes downwards.

“Aah……HR1 is going to end. Well then, I will leave momentarily, so until then, go ahead and leave this classroom. I’ll look at the number of remaining students, and replenish accordingly. Well then, farewell”

Saying and bowing courteously, Asch left the classroom behind him.

While walking in the corridor contently,

“Mira, how was it?”

, he asks.

“……how and what I should evaluate, I cannot begin to comprehend, but it was the worst self-introduction in the history of this continent, let me say just that”

Indifferently, the butler answered.
