Those Feelings Are (Yae Side)

“Well then, good night. Mutsumi, Yae-chan”
“Good night, Okaa-san”
“Good night”
We say good night to Kanae-san, Mutsumi’s Okaa-san, and head to Mutsumi’s room. Two futons had been laid out inside Mutsumi’s room.
“Well then, Yae-chan, you use the futon on this side”
“Okay”
I’m told, and when I enter the futon, Mutsumi switches off the light. I like this unique atmosphere when you stay over very much.
“So, what did you want to consult me?”
“Un. It’s something that happened recently”
I say and begin talking. The fact that more so than the frustration I had for losing, my heart was pounding for Kazu-kun playing an active role. The fact that my heart ends up throbbing for some reason from his hugs when I’m in a bad mood. And then the fact that it warms my heart when I pat Kazu-kun’s head.

I was inside Mutsumi’s arms before I knew it. All out of nowhere when she should be lying down…… More importantly, I can’t breathe thanks to those big things……
“Mutsumi……breasts……”

As I thought, Mutsumi’s breasts are deadly weapons. Not even I want to suffocate and die from my friend’s breasts.
“Anyway, Yae-chan’s that isn’t anything strange!”
“Is it so?”
“Un. That’s because Yae-chan likes Oohata-kun”
“I liked Kazu-kun since a long time ago, you know?”
“As a family member, right. Yae-chan came to like him not as that, but as a man”
It feels like the fogginess in my heart cleared up in one go when I was told that. I see, that’s what it was huh.

“That’s right! I’m a maiden in love as well after all”
I thought, ‘that doesn’t make for a reason’, but I didn’t say anything. Probably because what Mutsumi is saying isn’t wrong.
“Rather, Yae-chan and Oohata-kun had been doing even those kinds of things!?”

“Lap pillows and hugs! It’s understandable if it’s overseas, but the only ones who do that in Japan are spouses, or otherwise couples”
That’s a good point now that she mentions it. No, of course, it isn’t strange to do it amongst family members. Nevertheless, Kazu-kun and I aren’t actual family members……
“Fufu, Yae-chan’s face is crimson red”
“Ue!?”
I’m told, and when I put my hands on my cheeks, it’s extremely hot. I get self-conscious about that, and my temperature goes up even more.
“How adorable”
“Uuー. By-, by the way, what was it that Mutsumi wanted to ask?”
It feels like I’ll die of embarrassment if she says any more, so I change the topic. It’s quite forceful after all, and it’s unnatural, but I’m begging you, get on board.
“Eh? I was about to ask what Yae-chan thinks of Oohata-kun. But I already heard it, so I guess it’s fine”
“ーー!!!! Good night!!”
Who would’ve thought that the topic doesn’t change. There’s nothing I can do, so I face my back to Mutsumi. The moonlight was entering from the window.
“Fufu, good night. We’ll continue tomorrow”
Mutsumi said and returned to her own futon as well. I think she’ll probably say all kinds of things to me tomorrow, but I shall tease her with Oohashi-kun as well. That I decided.
I cover myself with the thin futon so that my stomach doesn’t get cold and close my eyes. What comes to mind is Kazu-kun.
I see, I liked Kazu-kun this much huh.
