“Here comes their attack! Magic Squad, firee!”
When a muscular robed man gives his command, muscular robed men cast their Magic altogether. ……I wonder what’s up with that?
“Fuhaha, are you surprised. In our country, if you join the army, regardless of whether you can or cannot use Magic, you first train your body. It’s the symbolism of our country’s strength!”
President Obbarman who laughs, ‘Wahahaha!‘, beside me. And then, with the next command, the door was opened. What appeared from there was
“Kanamin, that is……”
Marin makes a surprised voice. I was surprised as well. I mean, the appearance of what came out from the gate was literally Termi◯tor after all.
“Are you surprised? That is a mechanical soldier created using magic ores acquirable from our country’s giant gold mine. It was created based on a document from a very long time ago”
“What is that document?”
“We have no idea. It was written with words that are not of the language of this world, and we couldn’t decipher it. But, we managed to create it with the collective effort of our country’s prided researchers! It’s just that, we don’t know the method of liquefaction that was in the document; that was our limit”
Mari and I were beyond astonished. That ‘document’, is definitely a concept art or whatnot that drifted from our world, something like that. Since summoning is possible, like it was with us, I think it wouldn’t be strange even if items are carried over.
However, I think it’s amazing, that they manufactured it with just that document. It’s said that any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic, but to think that it’s being replicated with Magic.
“Goo! Mechanical soldiers! Protect our country!”
The mechanical soldiers that start running at the command of Military Advisor, Arnold・Schwargger, and attack the monsters. They attack the monsters by slicing them with their swords and bludgeoning them with their maces.
Although the monsters still have the numbers, our side has mechanical soldiers plus normal soldiers. It should work out somehow.
“Let’s join in as well, Mari!”
“Got it!”
We also join in the attack and defence as well after that. Mari casts all kinds of Magic at the monsters; I treat the injured people and defend against the attacks that fly over with Magic.
Occasionally, ridiculous sounds of explosions can be heard. Is that……Dorothea-san? It’s amazing she’s doing all that by herself. We may be able to withstand it if it’s like this. The moment I thought that
“……what a pain. Additionally……”
A Magic Circle floats up into the sky. And then what appeared were
“Tha-, that’s the S Grade monster, Gigantes. Furthermore, Fenrir and Yamata no Orochi?”
The soldiers who were standing beside me mutter with quivering voices. The one that appeared from the Magic Circle was Gigantes which boasts a size of 10 meters in height.
Next to it is a wolf the size of about 3 meters with a mix of black and silver colours. That is Fenrir.
On top of that, the Dragon with 8 heads, Yamata no Orochi, appeared. Furthermore, not just one, multiple.
The battleground that was progressing in our favour until just now took a complete turn. The mechanical soldiers were sent flying with just a single swing of the gigantic club Gigantes is holding, ripped apart by the sharp claws and crunched by the sharp fangs whenever Fenrir runs by, and blown away by the Water Magic’s Breath that Yamata no Orochi manifests from its mouth.
Tremendous strength. Those are S Grade monsters……. At that moment
“Uu, UWAaaaAAAh!”
, goes a voice. It looks like there were normal soldiers mixed in amongst the mechanical soldiers as well. Gigante’s club swings down like it’s guided by that voice.
“Ah, watch out!”
I immediately activate a Defence Magic, encompassing the soldiers, but the soldiers were instantly squashed. And then, Gigantes walks over to the fortress.
“Kuh, youu!”
I attack it with Magic, but it’s completely ineffective; Mari attacks Gigantes similarly, but even so, it only seems peeved by it.
“Wha- wha- wha-, what should we do, Kanamin! That fellow is approaching!”
“Fo-, for the time being, let’s attack it!”
Mari and I are attacking it, but Gigantes is gradually approaching. At this rate, the fortress will.
“Tsk, what an annoying large body!”
There was a shadow that runs on Gigantes’ body at that moment. The person who’s sprinting without Gigantes noticing was……Dorothea-san!? When on earth did she arrive somewhere like that!
Dorothea-san sprints on Gigantes’ body and closes in until its face. Gigantes doesn’t notice even when she goes until there. And then
“Darkness Blast!”
she casts her Magic onto Gigantes’ face at point-blank range. As expected, not even Gigantes can endure it if Magic is cast at point-blank range. It stumbles backwards.
Dorothea-san casts her Magic consecutively there, following up on her attack. And then, Gigantes finally collapsed backwards; dragging the monsters by its feet along with it.
“Am-, amazing……”
Mari looks at that sight and mutters beside me. But, it’s really amazing. To think that she defeated Gigantes whose size is tens of times of her. And then
“”Hmm, a failure of a Dragon, discharging Breath all willy-nilly. Attribute Ruler’s Bellow(Dragonix Roar)!』
A bellow with a gale that blows everything away pours down from the sky. Yamata no Orochi which was the target of that couldn’t completely withstand it and ended up being crushed by the wind pressure.
“That is……Anima-san!”
That’s right, the one that descended from the sky was the dragonified Wind Dragon Ruler, Anima-san. Who would’ve thought that she’d come and help us.
“Oou, this is amazing. I can’t lose either!”
President Obbarman said just that, got naked on his top-half for some reason, and ended up jumping down from the fortress. ……eh……eeeh!?
President Obbarman headed towards Fenrir, that headed over with its mouth wide open, with a smile

, a somewhat adorable voice was audible. Apparently, President Obbarman ended up punching and sending Fenrir flying. And then over there was the figure of a brawny President that’s unimaginable from the figure until just now.

Vice President Hiller says something like that beside us as we’re watching such President. Furthermore, getting heated up and going, ‘haa haa’. Both Mari and I were taken slightly aback.
“Fuhahahahahah! Muscle is where it’s att!”
President Obbarman who punches and kills the monsters with a tremendous smile……now then, I shall heal the wounded!
“……Kanamin, you can’t escape from reality”
I can’t hear anything!
