Hardt
The protagonist of this work. An ordinary youngster who had no particular speciality nor stood out in the village, but he received 『Dark Sorcerer』 for the Oracle, and his life changed.
Hardt possesses the same ability as Darx, who opposed the Holy Kingdom a long time ago, so Hardt, who possesses that ability was berated as a Demon, his body was wounded horribly, he was stabbed with a knife by the villagers as a loyalty test, and his mother was murdered before his eyes. After that, before he was dealt the final blow, he was saved by Darx.
Afterwards, he apprenticed under Darx, who possesses the same ability, on how to use the ability, and swore to take revenge on the world.
Stella
Hardt’s childhood friend who was born in the same village. She has been caring about Hardt since the past, but more than a man, those feelings are closer to that for a pet. It is normal for him to be by her side, and although she did also stab Hardt with the knife, she thinks she is able to have him forgive her for that as well. And also, able to return to have they were in the past. Her occupation is『Holy Maiden』, and she is currently accompanying the Heroes for the sake of subjugating the Demon Lord.
Lig
Hardt and Stella’s childhood friend who was born in the same village. In the past, they got along well, but now, he detests Hardt, who has Stella’s attention. When Hardt was chosen as the Dark Sorcerer, Lig ended up stabbing Hardt with the knife for the loyalty test, but he did it happily. He is currently accompanying Stella and the other’s Demon Lord subjugation as a Paladin.
Darx・Bradley
The man who is the main cause of the change in Hardt’s fate. Darx, who understood the true meaning of the ‘Holy Maiden’ system that Goddess Fistoria created, attacked the Holy Kingdom in order to save the Holy Maiden whom he fell in love with. He defeated Goddess Fistoria and saved the Holy Maiden over there, but he regrets that he made Hardt go through a painful experience as a result of that. He is currently teaching Hardt how to use his ability.
Liscia・Einstein
A dead spirit subordinate that Hardt resurrected in the beginning. Resurrected as a Saint Dullahan. Liscia was the Former Captain of the Fisland Holy Kingdom’s Paladins, but she was set up and killed by her Vice-Captain, who was envious that she was a young woman.
She approved on the revenge on the Holy Kingdom like Hardt and resurrected. She was feared as the『Seven Swords』during her lifetime.
Chrono
A dead spirit subordinate that Hardt resurrected in the beginning. Wraith Wizard. Chrono was formerly a Fisland Holy Kingdom’s resident and was actually the leading expert in the development of Magic Tools, but he had the fruits of his labour stolen. As a result of that, his sickly younger sister died without him being able to treat her, and he was killed in order to keep his mouth shut. He agrees with Hardt, who similarly bears hatred for the Holy Kingdom.
Nero
One of Hardt’s dead spirit subordinate and a Necromancer. He had been operating in public as Hardt’s double. He is the handler of Hardt’s dead spirits. He is currently also being entrusted with the government affairs as the Prime Minister.
Mylene
Hardt’s subordinate, and 1 of the people of the party that was entrusted with the dead spirits’ subjugation. Mylene was a sister of Fistoria Order, but she was captured by Nero. Just when she had given up, thinking that it was the end of the line, she was given a proposal in order to survive by Hardt and consented to it. As a result of that, Mylene adores Hardt and vows to be by Hardt’s side.
Akfia・Mestoa
Mestoa Kingdom’s First Princess; a woman with the nickname,『Flame Princess』. She confronted Hardt and the others, who attacked the Mestoa Kingdom, but was defeated by Liscia. After that, she voluntarily became the sacrifice for the sake of protecting the Kingdom and was enslaved by Hardt.
After that, she weighed between her father, the King, who sold the Kingdom for the sake of eliminating Hardt, and Hardt, who said he would protect the country for her if she stayed his subordinate, swore that she would protect the civilians no matter what happens to her, and chose Hardt.
Now, she has expulsed the King and is unifying the country as the Queen.
Mars
Lived as an orphan in the Mestoa Kingdom. Mars had a good relationship with his childhood friend, Tierra, but Tierra was targeted by a certain noble, and they were betrayed and sold by Darl, who was similarly a childhood friend, who was hired by that noble.
He was sold to Hardt’s side and begged him to help Tierra. As a result of that, Mars and Darl had a one-to-one fight, and he managed to defeat Darl and save Tierra.
He is currently training under Liscia’s tutelage. His occupation is『Dark Knight』.
Tierra
Lived as an orphan in the Mestoa Kingdom. Her legs are crippled by birth, and if she does not have the wheelchair Magic Tool, she is unable to go outside. As a result of the Oracle, she obtained God’s power,『Spirit Sorcerer』, which is similar to Dark Sorcerer, and she is targeted by the Holy Kingdom. She regrets the fact that Mars and Darl killed each other because of herself.
Elysineze・Mercure
Demi-Human Country’s Queen, and possesses the occupation,『Shrine Maiden』. One of its powers is clairvoyance; she had a prophecy that it is Hardt who defeated the Divine Beast that appeared because of Goddess Fistoria, and requested Hardt for help. In cooperation with Hardt and the others currently.
Lo
A Divine Beast that was born of the Divinity Tree through Goddess Fistoria’s power. It had silver fur when it was alive, but ever since it was killed by Hardt and resurrected as a dead spirit, it has changed to black.
Cecilia
A woman who had been entrusted with the position of a Captain in the war against the Demi-Human Country. She went against Hardt and was defeated. She was enslaved as a chesspiece for tearing the Empire apart.
Cel
Cecilia’s subordinate. In order to subdue Cecilia, Hardt placed a curse on Cel. The curse was dispelled under a condition, Cecilia’s obedience.
Elfion・Mercure
First King of the Demi-Human Country; knows the God before Goddess Fistoria, Hero God Narugami; able to have prophecies like the current Queen.
Relcend・Dragion
A Dragonewt woman, her nickname is『Fresh-Blood Dragon』, she is an outrageous battle maniac, and she challenges foe and friends alike. She committed fratricide because of that in the past, so she was killed by those of her same race. It was also because she wanted to fight Hardt and the others that she resurrected.
Shertia
Born of the Azure Dragon House, one of the Four Beasts Houses. Shertia was chosen by the Azure Dragon’s Tear, which the Azure Dragon House safeguards, but her older brother, who could not acknowledge that, murdered both their parents. Just as she somehow made her escape, she encountered Chrono, and they escaped the Empire together.
Elise・Glenberg
Glenberg Empire’s First Princess. A versatile Imperial Princess who is attractive and competent in combat, but she was shunned because the policies she proposed are nothing but those that the nobles oppose. She is a Dark Magician, which is an inferior version of Hardt’s Dark Sorcerer; reveres Hardt, who is at a height beyond her reach.
Goddess Fistoria
The Goddess who governs the world, but was actually the previous God, Narugami’s subordinate angel. She tricked and killed Narugami in order to become a God herself.
However, she was almost killed by Darx, who possesses a fragment of God’s power that Narugami scattered above ground right before he died.
Afterwards, she ended up performing the inspection known as the ‘Oracle’ in order to find those who possess God’s power.
